When you want all the benefits from exhuat wrap, but require a higher temperature for you manifold or turbo application then Inferno wrap will do the job. Unlike other forms of Silica wraps made from leached fibreglass, Inferno wrap is manufactured from texturized amorphous silica filament yarn. It is strong and flexible while operating at its designed service temperature of 1093.3°C (2000°F) continuous and 1648.8°C (3000°F) intermittent. Made from crushed volcanic rock, our Lava Wrap has all the same benefits as exhaust heat wrap with that trick carbon fiber look and improved durability! Lava Wrap is 25% stronger than fiberglass wraps, giving is a prolonged life and greater durability. This heat wrap helps retain the heat in your manifold and/or exhaust system, which increases horsepower. This also reduces radiant heat damage. By wrapping the manifold and exhaust system, it maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases the density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! Greater exhaust scavenging is produced which lowers air intake temperatures. This gives you more horsepower! The latest "thermal innovation" stops radient heat at the soure. The revoluntionary new product allows you to isolate heat by reducing radient heat damage to other vehicle components. Next generation technology allows it to be places directly on the exhaust system. Comprised of three layers the first is a stamped half pipe of 304 stainless steel, the second is a 1/8" thick piece of ceramic insulation and the third is a stainless steel mesh to hold the pad in place. Installed in seconds simply wrap the shield around the exhaust pipe and hold in place with stainless steel ties, hose clamps or wire. Heatshield armour is great on exhausts, manifolds, and aywhere where you want to stop radiant heat damage. The outer armor allows it to be cleaned after installation, gives it a long lifespan, and also makes Heatshield Armor resistant to the elements. The inner ceramic liner makes it capable of withstanding 1800°F continuous, which allows this heat shield to be placed directly on turbo manifolds, down pipes, and exhaust pipes. It is flexible, easy to cut and install. Our Heatshield Armor keeps heat in exhaust system which creates a scavenging effect, allowing exhaust gases to flow out of the system faster and can improve the efficiency. It also prevents radiant heat and stops radiant heat damage to other vehicle components. Heatshield Armor can also be used as a thermal barrier, simply by facing the aluminized side towards the radiant heat source. For insulation applications use our stainless steel ties , stainless steel hose clamp, or wire to fasten.
