|
|
Strut braces are an essential accessory for any fast road or competition vehicle. When installed they help maintain a stable suspension geometry by strengthening the front suspension turrets, this increases road holding and reduces tyre wear. They also help prevent the chassis flexing and reduce movement of the inner wings. Fixings are not supplied with any strut braces. |
|
We recommend that a qualified mechanic or body-shop doing the installation should be able to decide which are the best fixings. In many cases M8 nuts and bolts are adequate but in some extreme cases larger fixings may be required. All steel strut braces are supplied in red but can be painted. All alloy strut braces are supplied in silver lustre finish. This can be brightened up by using polish if required. |

The fitting application list is being constantly updated so if your vehicle is not listed please contact us. Please note: Most strut braces are designed to fit on to the original suspension mounts/turrets; it may be necessary on some vehicles to re-position certain components in the engine compartment to ensure a proper fit e.g. water bottles/fluid reservoirs etc. In some cases you will need to drill the bodywork. |
